This exciting exhibit will feature many MOCA DC regular artists, some in a style dissimilar to that which
we have become accustomed to, making it refreshing, while leaving us to wonder about their other
talents. Many new artists are expected to enter the exhibit, the norm for MOCA DC, given our mission
to be open to emerging artists and emerging art forms. In fact, MOCA DC introduces the area art
community to more new artists in a quarter, than most other galleries do in the entire year. The exhibit
will feature virtually every form of transportation, ranging from the invention of the wheel to the exciting
visions of the future.
Opening Reception Friday, September 7, 6 pm to ???
The event is free.  For more information contact Dave at 202.342.6230

Heads or Tails III

This popular exhibit features new and established members of MOCA DC, drawing on the works
of portrait artists as well as those who favor a rear view of the nude figure. Previous exhibits
have brought in art in all forms, from 2 dimensional to sculptural pieces. This year should excite
the viewer as the previous two exhibits have, with a variety that may even extend beyond the
human form.
The event is free. Opening Reception Friday, November 2, 6 pm to ???

Strictly Sculptures

Open to sculptures, only, the exhibit will feature the works of sculptors throughout the DC

live, nude female model during the Opening Reception, the 3rd Friday Open House and the
Closing Party. The completed sculpture will be raffled off at the Closing Party – winner need not
be present to win. Proceeds will go to benefit MOCA DC, the only gallery open to emerging
artists and art forms during the entire year.
